Devoted Man: Brotherhood, Discipline & Devotion
Imagine stepping into the depths of the jungle, away from the noise of the world, into a sanctuary where you can reconnect with your truest self. Here, in the lush, vibrant surroundings of Costa Rica’s heart, you’ll find a space of stillness and discipline—a place to reset, reflect, and transform. This retreat is for the man who is ready to lay down his burdens, step into his power, and discover the quiet strength that lies within.
Over the course of this intimate 1-on-1 journey, you will be guided by simple, yet profound practices—meditation, acupressure, deep nourishment, and daily rituals that honor your physical, mental, and spiritual journey. You will also find brotherhood in a weekly men's circle I hold together with other men. The food is raw, simple, and deeply restorative, grounding you in the purity of what is real, while the environment will teach you the power of presence and silence.
This retreat is a call to dive deeper into your purpose as a man—whether that’s embracing fatherhood, stepping into your work with clarity, or simply re-aligning your path. With a blend of solitude and community, you’ll leave not only feeling renewed but more deeply connected to your inner truth.
Come, reclaim your center. Experience the wild and the stillness. Let the jungle and the simplicity of life teach you how to be more fully and powerfully you.
My name is Ålam, welcome brother. I am inspired to create an opportunity for other men to find what they need in order to embody the man they want to show up as. As a father, a devoted lover and partner, and leader in my community I am passionate about creating the causes and conditions for a more beautiful world. I believe men have a the leading role in that creation, and I am deeply inspired to share how we might find true integrity, discipline and Love in our lives, become better lovers and partners, and walk the path together with other brothers.
The languages of sacred masculinity, men's work and meditative discipline have assisted me on the path greatly. How do we as men learn to not become slaves of superficial desires that keep us in comfort, but transmute them and learn to devote ourselves to something greater than ourselves? These are the topics we will explore during this week.
